What we do not collect

Where data is stored

Captures are stored in your browser profile using built-in extension storage (including IndexedDB). Settings use Chrome’s local extension storage. Data is protected by your device and Chrome profile security — not separately encrypted by us.

When processing happens

Capture runs only when you close a tab or Chrome discards it (Memory Saver). Restricted URLs such as chrome:// pages are not captured.

Permissions

Your controls

Data sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share capture data with third parties in normal extension operation.

Beta feedback (outside the extension)

If you contact us by email during the beta, we receive only what you choose to write. The extension does not send captures to us.

Analytics and telemetry

The current beta build does not include analytics or telemetry SDKs.

Data retention

Captures remain on your device until you dismiss them, delete all, or remove your Chrome profile. We do not hold your captures on our servers.

Children

Browser Memory is not directed at children under 13.

International users

Data is processed and stored locally on your device. Contact karpinskiyivann@gmail.com with privacy questions.

Security

Local-only storage reduces remote breach risk. Anyone with access to your unlocked computer may access your browser profile. Avoid emailing capture exports with sensitive snippets unless necessary for support.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
